A superb defensive performance and some nice offensive moves, too. Very well deserved.
NFC Champions 2004 Philadelphia Eagles
See you in Jacksonville…
Next on is Pittsburgh vs. New England for the AFC Championship…(should I really watch a game that starts at 0:30am /my timezone, GMT+1/ ?! Ah well, I’ll watch at least the first quarter half
Didn’t know you followed the NFL, Ingo. Of course you should stay up for Pittsburgh and New England. That is the REAL Superbowl!!
Well, tbh the only american sport that I followed from start to finish is the NBA. Nontheless I like to watch both the MLB and NFL playoffs (that’s when the real season starts of anyway…and the TV coverage is really good then too – I’ve got Premiere (german pay-tv) which is covering all playoff games of the NFL (most of the NBA, all of the MLB, most of the NHL)) :-)
On another note: it seems to me that this will be no real contest….Patriots all the way….; the main problem with american sports is that they’re american based (d’oh) which means that most matches are at really crud times, at least for me (it’s 1:20am atm – this is still a good time, but some games are really bad (evening games) which start at times like 3am here)…
This was our problem during the 2002 World Cup. All the matches (that Team USA was in) were at 4am here in the US…
“This was our problem during the 2002 World Cup. All the matches (that Team USA was in) were at 4am here in the US…” – hehe, well it’ll be just the other way round during the 2006 World Cup (Germany) then…
