Ingoal’s score: 57 pts (total: 549 pts)
Mr. Price’s score: 35 pts (total: 688 pts)
Woohoo! The first week in ages that I was able to get some points back, maybe it isn’t over after all. Watch out, here I come ;-)

Oooh my, it seems that the trip to Asia isn’t working out the way we all expected it. Just watched the game and okay, it isn’t the end of the world or anything (it’s just a friendly footie match), but it is unexpected. After going down 1-0 in the first half we struck back with a nifty freekick by Ballack to level it at 1-1. Then we went down 2-1 in the second half, but we didn’t quit and tried to get the equalizer. Our efforts were worthless, but then, just when you thought that they weren’t going to score, we were awarded a penalty kick – which Ballack blew and just like you would expect it: right after that South Korea tried a last counter-attack, which was successful: 3-1.
Ingoal’s score: 22 pts (462 pts total)
Mr. Price’s score: 44 pts (612 pts total)
I’m still losing more and more ground, week after week. I guess it’s time to make some transfers, yet again.
Went up 1-0 after missing several 100%-chances. 1-1, then awarded a penalty (1-2), and closed it out with some fine goals. Not bad, could have been more easy though.
Side note: coach isn’t able to contact people who aren’t supposed to show up to the meeting prior to the game, thumbs up :-(
Ingoal’s score: 40 pts (440 points total)
Mr. Price’s score: 45 pts (568 points total)
Slowly but steady losing ground every week. Time for some tranfers (3!). Maybe that’ll help…
Ingoal’s score: 20 pts (400 points total)
Mr. Price’s score: 28 pts (523 points total)
Slowly but steady the season is going down the drain, and Ingoal’s Invincibles don’t look all to invincible :-(
Oh my :-(
Now that’s a bummer. After go ahead 1-0 in the first half we were unable to score the second goal despite having 2-3 100% chances :-(
Now we need to wait and see how the other teams played, but I guess it’s almost certain that our 4 point lead will be cut to 2…
Update: Or not…my oh my, everything went our way apart from our own game and performance, both Dersim Ludwigsburg and KSV Besigheim lost 3-1 today. So, we could have claimed the top with a win today…
Oh man, this really hurts.
Hell froze over this wednesday! Yes you heard me ;-)
Believe it or not, but Mr. Price has really taken over the top of the league. I don’t know what it is this season, but it seems I’ve run out of luck as I can’t seem to get a foot on the ground. :-(
Mr. Price: 1st place, 50 pts – 495 pts total
Ingoal: 14th place, 18 pts – 380 pts total
With us being free from play back to back, Dersim took it’s chances today and took over first place again with a 4-0 win over KSV Besigheim. Now the standings read:
With three games remaining till the winter break we should try everything to get our 9 points which would be a sure 2nd place.
Ingoal’s score: 21 pts (total score: 334)
Mr. Price score: 24 pts (total score: 386)
:-(
Oooh yeah! Now that was a game.
We took the lead 1-0 after a nice effort by one of our strikers. After that we had numerous chances to go ahead even higher, but we blew them all. Then we had a penalty and the chance to make it 2-0 (and eventually seal the victory), but we blew that as well. In return KSV Besigheim took their one chance and leveled 1-1. With 22 minutes to good it took us some minutes to get our game back together and after missing another two to three great chances our efforts were rewarded with a second penalty – which we were able to capitilise on: 1-2!!! :-)
We were able to hold on to that missing some other chances to make the score even clearer. After this good effort we are now still on top of the league (23pts) with a four point lead over both KSV Besigheim and Dersim Ludwigsburg (with the game Dersim Ludwigsburg – KSV Besigheim still in the balance – it had to be postponed after the referee forgot to show up last week). Now everything is in our own hands with three games left until the winter break. We don’t have another game for the next two weeks so we’ve got enough time to relax a little and prepare for the next match which will be against TSV Ludwigsburg on November 28th.
Ingoal’s score: 26 pts (total: 313)
Mr. Price’s score: 24 pts (total: 362)
Oooh that hurts!
Ingoal’s score: 18 pts – total: 287 pts
Mr.Price’s score: 26 pts – total: 338 pts
Still early in the season, but it’s starting to look like next year’s game will be free for Mr. Price (yeah right ;-) , time for a huge comeback!!!) :-)
Due to the fact that I was still in Karlsruhe (see What a party) and that I’m still in battle with my cold/flu I couldn’t watch the match today, so I’m really looking forward to the match report.
One thing’s for sure though: we’ve taken the top spot (2opts) because the top match was postponed (which leaves Dersim and Besigheim with 19pts) :-)
